Falling in line with current market of wearables, my team and I worked on creating a functional helmet that mechanically responded to user vocal commands

While doing research on flow mechanics on a Frisbee, we found that we needed a device that would allow us to simulate a thrown Frisbee while providing us with data on the rpm, pitch and yaw forces that it was experiencing.
Using a combination of strain gauges and encoders, we were able to create a jig to give us the necessary data.

The jig was created to reliably test the sensor technology developed by my company. The jig was created to simulate repeatable field use physical conditions while measuring signal outputs to verify the condition of the sensor.
This tool became very useful in quickly determining if the manufactured sensor was market ready.
